Congratulations to Brendan Burke, senior at Burncoat High School in Worcester, recipient of the 2008 BBB Student Ethics Award!
The Better Business Bureau of Central New England, Inc. (BBB) is calling for entries for its Student Ethics Award competition. A student will be recognized for their high commitment to school and to the community. A scholarship of $500 will accompany the award.
BBB seeks entries from students by September 12, 2008, so a panel of judges can complete the competition by September 19, 2008. The award will be presented at the annual BBB Awards Banquet on October 29, 2008 at the Crowne Plaza in Worcester.
To be eligible to enter, a student must be a senior in a central Massachusetts high school and be planning to continue his/her education, or a student currently enrolled in a central Mass. college or school of higher education. The scholarship must be applied toward school related expenses.
BBB is pleased to be able to host such a great community event, and the Student Ethics Award will be one of the highlights of the day.
